Roles & Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough psychiatric and psychological assessments to inform care plans
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the care team
• Provide evidence-based psychotherapy and crisis intervention when needed
• Consult with psychiatrists, nurses and other clinicians to coordinate patient care
• Document assessments, progress notes and discharge planning accurately and timely
• Participate in treatment team meetings and contribute clinical expertise
• Advocate for patients and help connect them with community resources

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in psychology or psychiatry-focused settings
• Specialty experience working with psychiatric populations as indicated by the role
• Comfort working in a travel assignment for a 13-week duration
• Current professional credentials appropriate to role; check with recruiter about state licensure requirements

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong skills in psychiatric assessment, diagnostic interviewing and risk evaluation
• Experience with treatment planning and evidence-based psychotherapies
• Crisis management and de-escalation techniques
• Collaborative mindset for working across interdisciplinary teams
• Clear, compassionate communication and strong clinical documentation
• Familiarity with electronic health records and regulatory documentation practices
