Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform complex diagnostic testing across Chemistry, Hematology, Blood Bank and Microbiology with accuracy and care
- Maintain strict adherence to quality control procedures and laboratory safety protocols
- Review, validate, and communicate test results promptly to support patient care
- Troubleshoot routine instrument issues and coordinate preventative maintenance when needed
- Document procedures, results and quality checks clearly and in compliance with lab standards
- Serve in a supervisory capacity as required by Nevada State General Supervisor licensure — guide and support lab personnel
- Multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while prioritizing critical work to ensure timely results
Qualifications
- Current and active Nevada State General Supervisor license (required)
- Demonstrated proficiency performing complex testing in General Laboratory disciplines: Chemistry, Hematology, Blood Bank and Microbiology
- Strong commitment to quality control and laboratory safety protocols
- Ability to multitask and maintain operational excellence in a busy lab setting
- Available for evening/night shift coverage
Knowledge & Skills
- Deep knowledge of clinical laboratory testing in Chemistry, Hematology, Blood Bank and Microbiology
- Practical experience with quality control processes and safety protocols
- Skilled at accurate documentation and result validation
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills for lab instrumentation and workflows
- Excellent time management and multitasking capabilities
