Shift Type: Rotating nights (includes weekends), 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM NOC; 3-4 weekend shifts required per 4-week schedule
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $49 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide expert, compassionate ICU nursing care for critically ill cardiac patients
- Continuously monitor and interpret hemodynamic data and respond appropriately
- Manage advanced cardiac devices and therapies such as IABP and Impella
- Perform and assist with procedures including central line and Swan-Ganz insertion and intubations
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate complex patient care
- Document care accurately in Meditech and maintain high standards of patient safety
- Educate patients and families about condition, treatments, and recovery plans
Qualifications
- Current RN license (ability to practice in Tennessee required)
- Minimum 2 years ICU/cardiac critical care experience
- ACLS required; BLS required
- Demonstrated experience with PA catheter and hemodynamic monitoring
- Hands-on experience with IABP and Impella strongly preferred
- Familiarity with central line and Swan-Ganz insertion and intubation
- CRRT experience preferred
- Comfortable using Meditech or similar electronic documentation systems
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong cardiac critical care knowledge and clinical judgment
- Proficient in hemodynamic monitoring and interpreting invasive lines
- Skilled in managing mechanical circulatory support and post-procedural care
- Ability to work in a 2:1 patient ratio environment and prioritize effectively
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills in high-acuity settings
- Familiarity with Phillips telemetry monitors and Hill-Rom equipment
