Shift Type: Night shift, 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM, 7P shift; schedule includes every-other-weekend (specific days vary)

Candidate Pay Rate: $46 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Manage ventilator settings and provide expert ventilator care for critically ill patients
- Perform arterial blood gas draws and interpret ABG results to guide therapy
- Assist with intubations and support airway management during procedures
- Administer nebulizer, Metaneb, IPPB, and CPT treatments to improve patient respiratory status
- Document assessments and treatments accurately in Meditech
- Collaborate with ICU, NICU, and ED teams to deliver coordinated, patient-centered care
- Provide compassionate care across all age ranges while maintaining strong customer service
Qualifications
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) required
- BLS certification required
- Experience in ICU, NICU, or ED settings (listed as must-have experience)
- Ability to draw and interpret ABGs
- Minimum of 2 years of hospital respiratory experience (special skills/experience required)
- Comfortable assisting with intubation and advanced airway management
Knowledge & Skills
- Ventilator management and hands-on experience with ventilators
- ABG sampling and interpretation
- Experience with Servo I ventilator (preferred)
- Familiarity with I-Stat point-of-care testing (preferred)
- Proficiency using Meditech documentation system
- Therapies: Metaneb, IPPB, nebulizer treatments, and CPT
- Strong patient communication and customer service skills across age ranges
