Roles & Responsibilities

• Support daily hospital operations by coordinating non-clinical tasks that keep the facility running smoothly
• Maintain a safe work environment by following and reinforcing safety protocols for chemical, radiation and mechanical exposures
• Manage supplies and equipment logistics to ensure clinical teams have what they need when they need it
• Document incidents, exposures and safety checks accurately and promptly
• Collaborate with clinical and facilities teams to respond to adverse weather, access issues and on-site hazards
• Communicate clearly with staff and leadership to prioritize tasks and escalate concerns
• Assist with infection control practices and follow bloodborne pathogen precautions to protect patients and staff

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree or certificate in related field preferred
• Prior experience in a hospital, health system or large facility support role preferred
• Comfort working in environments with potential exposure to chemicals, x-ray energy, dust/fumes, communicable diseases and moving mechanical parts
• Ability to pass background check, drug screen and required immunizations
• Strong attention to safety protocols and personal protective equipment use
• Reliable transportation and willingness to work on a short-term travel contract
• Excellent communication and documentation skills

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Familiarity with workplace safety and PPE requirements
• Basic understanding of infection control and bloodborne pathogen precautions
• Awareness of radiation safety and precautions around x-ray equipment
• Mechanical aptitude for working around moving equipment and troubleshooting basic issues
• Ability to follow written procedures and complete accurate documentation
• Good communication, teamwork and problem-solving skills
• Adaptability to changing conditions including adverse weather and variable site access
