Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional care to diverse adult and geriatric patients across MS-Tele, cardiac, neuro, oncology, ortho, and more in a dynamic float pool
• Monitor and manage telemetry patients with 1:5-6 ratios, titrating heparin drips as needed
• Float flexibly within Zone 3 facilities including OrthoColorado, Longmont United, St. Anthony, and St. Anthony North to fill critical gaps
• Collaborate with charge nurses, nurse aides, and RT teams using EPIC charting for seamless patient handoffs
• Adapt to varying acuities from MS-Tele to low-acuity ICU holds, PCU, and stepdown ensuring top-quality outcomes

Qualifications

• Active RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of recent MS-Tele experience
• BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and NIHSS certifications
• Prefer prior neuro experience
• Valid driver's license for 60-mile radius floating in Zone 3

Education

• BSN preferred but not required

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong telemetry monitoring and cardiac drip titration including heparin
• Experience with diverse patient populations: neuro, ortho, oncology, renal, post-surgical, psych/detox, and general medicine
• Proficiency in EPIC charting
• Flexibility for just-in-time assignments and floating across facilities and acuities
• Comfort with vents, CPAP, BiPAP, and working alongside nurse aides
