Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver critical care to high-acuity patients recovering from cardiac surgery, lung transplants, and complex procedures like ECMO and TAVR
• Manage 1:1 or 1:2 ratios with confidence in a Level I Trauma center buzzing with intensity
• Perform bedside procedures including IABP, CRRT, bronchs, and Swan insertions while maintaining impeccable sterile technique
• Collaborate with intensivists, RTs, and pharmacy for top-tier patient outcomes
• Float to support fellow ICUs, MS, or Tele units when needed, showcasing your versatility

Qualifications

• Active RN license with at least 2 years of ICU experience, preferably in CVICU or CTICU
• BLS and ACLS certifications required, CCRN preferred
• Proven Level I Trauma experience and strong IV skills since there's no IV team
• Ready to ace the dysrhythmia exam and pass/fail SIMs Lab on Foley catheters and central line dressings

Education

• BSN preferred, but relevant ICU experience takes center stage

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in Cerner charting and Phillips telemetry
• Mastery of high-acuity interventions like IABP, CRRT, ECMO, and bedside procedures
• Sterile field proficiency to breeze through SIMs Lab
• Solid dysrhythmia knowledge and strong IV skills
