Speech Language Pathologist
Location: Redding, California
Start Date: 05-18-2026
End Date: 08-17-2026
Shift Type: 10 hour day shifts, Monday-Friday, every other weekend
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $58 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and swallowing disorders to improve patient outcomes
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that make a real difference
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional care
- Educate patients and families on effective communication strategies
- Document progress using Cerner system to track meaningful advancements
Qualifications
- Active CA license required
- BLS Certification
- 2 years of experience in an acute care facility
- COVID Vaccine Required
Education
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficiency in speech pathology assessments and interventions
- Strong communication and patient education skills
- Experience with Cerner charting system
- Ability to thrive in a Level 2 trauma acute care environment
