Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: 12-hour night shifts, 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM (1830-0700), every other weekend, manager schedules
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional intermediate care to downgraded CVICU patients and support the thoracic program
- Titrate critical drips like Amio, nitro, and cardizem to stabilize cardiac and vascular patients
- Read and interpret tele strips independently for precise monitoring
- Manage 1:3 or 1:4 ratios, especially for post-surgical patients in their first 24 hours
- Collaborate with hospitalists, intensivists, and RTs in a high-support environment
- Float to similar or lower acuity units to broaden your impact
Qualifications
- Active RN license
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- At least 2 years of experience, with 1 year in CVU/Stepdown patient populations
- Valid driver's license to confirm 50-mile radius rule compliance
Education
- BSN preferred but not required
Knowledge & Skills
- Expertise in CVU and Stepdown care
- Proficiency titrating drips for blood pressure management
- Skill in reading tele strips and interpreting rhythms
- Familiarity with common diagnoses like CVAs, CHF, A fib RVR, cath lab recoveries
