Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Night shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, 36 hours per week, 6-9 weekend shifts in a 6 week schedule, schedules released 4-6 weeks in advance

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate care to diverse patients including cardiac, neuro, ortho, and oncology cases in a dynamic float pool
Monitor telemetry and titrate heparin drips with precision and confidence
Float seamlessly across top facilities in Zone 1 to support varying acuities from MS-Tele to low-acuity ICU holds
Collaborate with charge nurses, nurse aides, and RT teams to optimize patient outcomes
Adapt to 1:5-6 ratios based on acuity while maintaining high standards of safety and excellence

Qualifications

Active RN license with 2+ years of MS-Tele experience
Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
Comfortable floating within a 60-mile radius zone around Colorado Springs

Education

BSN preferred but not required

Knowledge & Skills

Strong MS-Tele monitoring and telemetry skills
Heparin titration expertise
Neuro experience preferred for tackling complex cases
Flexibility to handle cardiac, oncology, renal, ortho, trauma, and more
