Shift Type: Day shift, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM with rotating on-call coverage (evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays). Call is 7 days per month with one weekend per month.

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Monitor and assess patients throughout diagnostic and interventional catheterization procedures to ensure safety and optimal outcomes
- Operate and assist with specialized cath lab equipment, including Philips Laser System, IVUS, OCT, and Siemens Artis Zee C-arms
- Support coronary and peripheral interventions such as PTCA, stenting, thrombectomy, and atherectomy with focused, detail-oriented care
- Assist with pacemaker insertions, carotid procedures, and peripheral interventions as part of the multidisciplinary team
- Provide pre- and post-procedure care, including patient preparation, transport, and recovery monitoring
- Collaborate with cardiologists, interventional radiologists, and surgeons to deliver coordinated, patient-centered care
- Cover rotating call responsibilities professionally and respond promptly to emergent cases during on-call periods
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (able to work in Oklahoma; compact license helpful)
- Prior cath lab or interventional radiology nursing experience and comfort with invasive cardiac/peripheral procedures
- Current BLS certification; ACLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
- Proven competence in cardiac monitoring and hemodynamic assessment
- Ability to work an 8-hour day shift and participate in rotating on-call coverage (evenings, nights, weekends, holidays)
- Strong teamwork, communication skills, and the ability to assist across pre/post-op and procedural areas
Education
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Patient monitoring and hemodynamic assessment in the cath lab setting
- Familiarity with IVUS and OCT imaging modalities
- Experience with coronary and peripheral atherectomy devices and thrombectomy techniques
- Operation and troubleshooting of Philips Laser System and Siemens Artis Zee C-arm
- Use of McKesson CPACS, McKesson Cardiology, and McKesson Hemodynamic systems
- Competence in assisting with pacemaker insertions, carotid stenting, tilt table testing, and kyphoplasty support
- Pre- and post-operative patient care, safe transport, and assisting duties as assigned
