Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care for clinic patients following established standards and practices
• Coordinate patient care and assist providers and staff with scheduling and follow-up
• Perform and interpret EKGs and monitor cardiac rhythms and arrhythmias
• Administer and manage cardiac medications and related patient treatments
• Serve as the primary liaison between patients, staff and providers to ensure clear communication
• Educate patients and families about cardiac conditions, medications and post-care instructions
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and assist with quality improvement initiatives
• Support pre-employment screening and compliance processes as required

Qualifications

• MT RN Licensure (required)
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications
• Basic coronary class certification or equivalent experience
• At least 2 years of cardiac nursing experience preferred
• Ability to pass standard pre-employment screening (background, drug screening, health/immunizations)

Education

• Graduate of nursing program (RN)

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong understanding of EKGs and cardiac arrhythmias
• Knowledge of cardiac medications and cardiac nursing procedures
• Medical terminology and basic nursing principles and procedures
• Patient coordination and liaison skills to connect patients with providers
• Key boarding skills and basic office skills for smooth clinic operations
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
