Shift Type: Rotating night shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM (Night). Schedule includes rotating nights with at least 4 weekends required per schedule period
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $46 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, compassionate critical care to adult neuro/medical ICU patients
- Manage advanced life support including ventilator care and intubation procedures
- Monitor and manage invasive lines such as central lines and arterial lines with precision
- Perform EVD care and collaborate with core staff for EVD patients
- Document patient care accurately in Meditech and communicate changes clearly to the care team
- Work as a team player to coordinate care with physicians, therapists and support staff
- Maintain safe patient ratios and promote best practices in ICU care
Qualifications
- Active RN license (TX or compact) required
- ACLS certification required
- Minimum 1 year of ICU nursing experience
- Experience with Meditech or similar EMR preferred
- Comfort with intubation support, central and arterial line management and EVD care
- Strong teamwork, accountability and patient-centered attitude
Education
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Critical care nursing and ICU best practices
- Ventilator management and airway support
- Central line and arterial line monitoring and troubleshooting
- EVD care principles and neuro-critical care familiarity
- Experience with Meditech electronic medical record
- Strong assessment, communication and clinical decision-making skills
