Candidate Pay Rate: $126 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Operate and manage the Spectrum Quantum HLM and other perfusion systems during cardiac procedures
- Initiate and manage ECMO support when clinically indicated
- Provide expert perfusion support for CABG, MVR, AVR, aortic dissections and TAVR cases
- Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot CATS Cell Saver, Cardiohelp and Cardioquip equipment
- Accurately document procedures using Viper/Spectrum and Meditech
- Communicate clearly and proactively with surgeons, anesthesiologists and OR staff to ensure patient safety
- Participate in and respond to shared on-call rotations and emergent cases promptly
- Adhere to unit guidelines, sterile technique and hospital policies while mentoring assistants when appropriate
Qualifications
- Certified Clinical Perfusionist (CCP) — required
- Active Missouri perfusion license — required
- Minimum 5 years CCP experience (explicit requirement)
- Proven experience with Spectrum HLM (must have)
- BLS certification (required)
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Experience initiating and managing ECMO is highly valued
Education
- Completion of an accredited perfusion program or equivalent training
- Active CCP certification
Knowledge & Skills
- Hands-on experience with Spectrum HLM and Viper/Spectrum documentation
- Familiarity with Meditech clinical documentation
- Experience with CATS Cell Saver, Cardiohelp and Cardioquip devices
- Clinical knowledge of CABG, MVR, AVR, aortic dissections and TAVR procedures
- ECMO initiation and management skills
- Strong OR teamwork, situational awareness and on-call readiness
- Accurate clinical documentation and equipment troubleshooting
