Candidate Pay Rate: $46 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide expert respiratory care across age ranges — from neonates to adults
- Manage ventilators and tailor ventilator strategies to patient needs
- Draw and interpret ABGs to inform timely clinical decisions
- Assist with intubations and support airway management during procedures
- Deliver therapies such as nebulizer treatment, Metaneb, IPPB and CPT
- Document patient care accurately in Meditech and communicate changes to the care team
- Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other therapists to optimize patient outcomes
- Educate patients and families about respiratory care plans and home strategies
Qualifications
- Current RRT credential required
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of hospital respiratory therapy experience (ICU, NICU, or ED experience highly valued)
- Able to draw ABGs and perform advanced respiratory procedures
- Experience working with all patient age ranges
- Comfortable assisting with intubation and advanced airway support
- Familiarity with Meditech documentation preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong ventilator management skills (experience with Servo I a plus)
- ABG interpretation and arterial puncture proficiency
- Familiarity with I-Stat point-of-care testing
- Proficient with nebulizer therapy, Metaneb, IPPB, and CPT techniques
- Excellent patient communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced ICU/ED/NICU environments
- Accurate clinical documentation and teamwork
