Shift Type: Per diem (as-needed), 5:00 PM - 5:30 AM NOC (overnight)
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $18 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care and assistance with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming)
- Monitor and record vital signs and resident status accurately and promptly
- Assist nursing staff with procedures and follow care plans to support resident outcomes
- Communicate changes in condition to the nursing team and document observations clearly
- Support a safe, clean environment by following infection control and safety protocols
- Build rapport with residents and families to promote dignity and emotional wellbeing
- Participate in team huddles and contribute to a positive, resident-centered care culture
Qualifications
- Current CNA certification (Certified Nursing Assistant) — New Mexico certification preferred or ability to obtain
- Current CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
- Up-to-date immunizations and TB screening per facility policy
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening as required
- Strong communication skills, reliability, and a caring attitude; previous long-term care or residential experience a plus
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred; active CNA certification required
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in assisting with ADLs and basic resident care
- Comfortable taking and recording vital signs and documenting accurately
- Knowledge of infection control and safe patient handling
- Good observational skills with the ability to report clinical changes
- Team-oriented, adaptable, and able to prioritize resident needs
