Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents with dignity and respect
- Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Monitor and record vital signs and report any changes to nursing staff promptly
- Support mealtime assistance and safe feeding practices
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents
- Document care accurately and timely in the facility record system
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the interdisciplinary care team
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (New Mexico) or eligibility to obtain
- Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
- Comfortable assisting with ADLs and basic resident care
- Strong communication and teamwork skills with a resident-first mindset
- Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Current CNA certification required
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of infection control and proper hand hygiene
- Familiarity with safe resident transfer and safe handling techniques
- Basic vital signs measurement and documentation
- Understanding of resident rights, privacy, and HIPAA considerations
- Ability to follow care plans and report changes in condition
