Shift Type: Evening/Night, 5:00 PM - 5:30 AM NOC (overnight)

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate direct care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
- Support safe transfers and mobility, always prioritizing resident dignity
- Monitor and document resident conditions, reporting changes to the nursing team
- Assist with meal service, hygiene, grooming, and comfort measures
- Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary staff to deliver person-centered care
- Contribute to a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents and families
Qualifications
- Active CNA certification (required) and listed on the appropriate state registry
- Current basic life support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or able to obtain
- Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings
- Comfortable working overnight shifts and supporting a varied resident population
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient-focused attitude
- Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing is a plus
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred; active CNA certification required
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in activities of daily living (ADLs) and resident personal care
- Knowledge of basic infection control and safety practices
- Accurate documentation and charting of resident observations
- Teamwork, time management, and the ability to prioritize tasks
- Comfort with following care plans and reporting changes to nursing staff
