Shift Type: As-needed (varied days), 5:00 PM - 5:30 AM NOC (overnight)

Candidate Pay Rate: $18 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate direct care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
- Monitor and document resident condition, reporting changes to nursing staff promptly
- Assist with safe transfers and mobility to promote independence and prevent falls
- Support meal service and feeding when needed, observing dietary requirements
- Follow facility infection control and safety protocols to protect residents and staff
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to deliver consistent, person-centered care
Qualifications
- Current CNA certification in the state of New Mexico (required)
- Comfortable working overnight shifts and able to respond to changing resident needs
- Good communication skills and a team-first attitude
- Willingness to complete facility onboarding, background check, and any required screenings
- Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred but open to enthusiastic new CNAs
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Completion of an approved CNA training program and current state certification
Knowledge & Skills
- Basic patient care skills: bathing, toileting, feeding, and ambulation assistance
- Vital sign measurement and accurate documentation
- Familiarity with infection control and safety procedures
- Ability to follow care plans and take direction from licensed nurses
- Compassionate bedside manner and strong observation skills
