Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate direct care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
- Monitor and record vital signs and resident conditions accurately
- Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, and mobility support
- Communicate changes in resident status clearly to nursing staff and leadership
- Maintain a safe, clean environment and follow infection control procedures
- Document care and observations in a timely and professional manner
- Support residents' emotional well-being through compassionate interaction
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential in good standing
- Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willing to obtain
- Comfortable with overnight shifts and providing hands-on resident care
- Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to resident-centered care
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) training and state certification
Knowledge & Skills
- Practical knowledge of activities of daily living (ADLs) and safe resident handling
- Ability to take and accurately record vital signs and basic observations
- Familiarity with documentation and charting best practices
- Strong interpersonal skills and a calm, patient-centered approach
- Basic infection control and safety awareness
