Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
- Assist nurses with patient transfers, mobility, and safe positioning
- Monitor residents for any changes and report observations promptly to the nursing team
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care and vitals
- Support a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents
- Build trusting relationships with residents and their families through respectful communication
Qualifications
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
- Current basic healthcare training per facility requirements; ability to meet competency checks
- Comfortable working overnight shifts and providing hands-on resident care
- Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
- Ability to pass facility background checks and health screenings
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred; CNA training completed
Knowledge & Skills
- Hands-on experience with resident personal care and ADLs
- Basic vital sign measurement and reporting
- Knowledge of infection prevention and safe patient handling
- Good documentation practices and attention to detail
- Empathy, patience, and strong interpersonal skills
