Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: Per diem (as needed), 5:00 PM - 5:30 AM NOC; days vary based on facility staffing needs
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care and assistance with activities of daily living
- Assist with patient transfers, positioning, bathing, grooming, and toileting
- Take and record vital signs accurately and promptly report changes
- Observe and report patient conditions and communicate with nursing staff
- Keep clear, timely documentation of care and patient interactions
- Support a safe, clean environment and follow infection control protocols
- Build trusting relationships with patients and their families through respectful care
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (New Mexico preferred or eligible)
- CPR/BLS certification or willing to obtain
- Comfortable working evening and overnight hours as needed
- Ability to pass required background checks and drug screening
- Previous CNA experience preferred but new grads with strong clinical skills are welcome
- Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
Education
- High school diploma or GED required; active CNA certification required
Knowledge & Skills
- Patient care fundamentals and safe transfer techniques
- Taking and recording vital signs accurately
- Infection prevention and proper use of PPE
- Basic charting and documentation best practices
- Clear, compassionate communication with patients and clinical teams
- Time management and the ability to prioritize patient needs
