Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
- Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the nursing team promptly
- Assist with safe transfers, ambulation and mobility support
- Help maintain a clean, comfortable and safe environment for residents
- Document care activities accurately and communicate clearly with caregivers and families
- Support team members during admissions, discharges and routine care procedures
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required
- Active state CNA license or ability to obtain New Mexico certification
- Basic life support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred
- Comfortable working evening and overnight hours
- Strong communication skills and a patient, compassionate approach
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Completion of an accredited CNA training program and active certification
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in personal care, bathing, dressing and toileting assistance
- Ability to take and record vital signs accurately
- Infection control and safety-conscious practices
- Good documentation habits and basic charting experience
- Team player mentality and strong interpersonal skills
