Shift Type: Per diem schedule, 5:00 PM - 5:30 AM NOC (days vary)
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $18 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, supporting activities of daily living
- Assist with bathing, dressing, toileting, mobility and feeding with dignity
- Monitor and record vital signs and report any changes to the nursing team
- Maintain accurate charting and documentation in a timely manner
- Support safe transfers and use proper body mechanics to protect residents and yourself
- Collaborate with nurses and care team to ensure individualized resident care plans are followed
- Help create a welcoming, respectful environment that promotes resident well-being
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required
- Active or eligible to obtain New Mexico CNA state certification
- Compassionate attitude, strong communication skills, and dependable work ethic
- Ability to handle physical demands of the role, including lifting and assisting residents
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred
- Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing is a plus
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent; CNA certification required
Knowledge & Skills
- Hands-on resident care and ADL assistance
- Basic vital signs assessment and observation skills
- Infection control and safe hygiene practices
- Clear communication with residents, families, and clinical teams
- Documentation and time management in a clinical setting
- Ability to follow care plans and work well in a team-based environment
