Shift Type: 5:00 PM - 5:30 AM Night (overnight), 30-minute meal break; days not specified (per diem schedule)

Candidate Pay Rate: $18 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, helping with activities of daily living
- Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility and feeding while preserving dignity
- Monitor and document vital signs and resident conditions accurately and promptly
- Communicate changes in resident status to nursing staff and participate in care planning
- Maintain a safe, clean environment and follow infection prevention protocols
- Support admissions, transfers and discharges with professionalism and empathy
- Build trusting relationships with residents and families to enhance quality of life
Qualifications
- Current CNA certification (Certified Nursing Assistant) — New Mexico certification preferred
- CPR/BLS certification required or able to obtain upon hire
- Comfort working overnight shifts and supporting a varied resident population
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams
- Compassion, patience, and a commitment to resident-centered care
- Previous long-term care or rehab experience is a plus but not required
Education
- High school diploma or GED required; CNA certification required
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid knowledge of ADLs, basic patient care and mobility assistance
- Familiarity with infection control and safe patient handling
- Skill in accurate documentation and basic charting procedures
- Ability to observe, report and escalate changes in resident condition
- Good time management, reliability and teamwork mindset
- Professional bedside manner and strong interpersonal skills
