Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate personal care and assistance with activities of daily living to residents
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff promptly and accurately
• Assist with safe transfers, ambulation, and positioning while following facility protocols
• Perform routine vital signs and documentation with attention to detail
• Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful environment for residents and their families
• Collaborate with the care team to support individualized care plans and positive patient outcomes

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required
• Valid CNA registration or active authorization to practice in New Mexico preferred
• Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate patient care and follow care plans
• Strong communication skills and a team-player attitude
• Willingness to work overnight shifts and maintain reliable attendance

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required

Knowledge & Skills

• Comfortable assisting with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting)
• Basic competency in taking and recording vital signs
• Infection control awareness and safe handling practices
• Good documentation and time-management skills
• Empathy, patience, and the ability to connect with residents and families
