Shift Type: Per Diem, 5:00 PM - 5:30 AM (Overnight, NOC). Days vary based on per-diem schedule

Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care to residents, supporting daily living activities
- Assist with safe transfers, mobility, and positioning to maintain comfort and dignity
- Monitor and record vital signs and resident condition accurately and promptly
- Communicate changes in resident status to nursing staff and interdisciplinary team
- Maintain infection control standards and follow facility safety policies
- Document care clearly in the resident record and support continuity of care
Qualifications
- Active CNA certification in New Mexico (required)
- Current CPR/BLS certification (preferred or required per facility policy)
- Ability to pass background check and required pre-employment screenings
- Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent; CNA certification required
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient with activities of daily living (ADLs) and resident hygiene needs
- Skilled in safe patient transfers, use of assistive devices, and fall prevention
- Knowledge of infection control practices and PPE use
- Comfortable taking and documenting vital signs and intake/output
- Basic electronic charting familiarity and clear documentation habits
- Compassionate resident-focused care and effective teamwork
