Candidate Pay Rate: $17 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate hands-on care and assist patients with activities of daily living
- Monitor and record vital signs and report any changes to the nursing team
- Support safe patient transfers, positioning, and mobility
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation of patient care and observations
- Follow infection control and facility safety protocols at all times
- Collaborate with nurses and staff to deliver coordinated, patient-centered care
- Create a comforting environment and respond promptly to patient needs
Qualifications
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification; state certification in New Mexico preferred or eligible to obtain
- Current BLS/CPR certification preferred
- Previous CNA experience in acute care or long-term care is a plus
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening as required by facility
- Compassionate attitude and commitment to patient dignity and safety
Education
- High school diploma or GED and completion of an accredited CNA program
Knowledge & Skills
- Basic patient care and assistance with activities of daily living
- Vital signs measurement and documentation
- Safe patient handling and transfer techniques
- Infection prevention and control practices
- Clear, professional communication with patients and team members
- Time management and the ability to prioritize patient needs
