Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate personal care and assistance with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, toileting, and mobility support
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the nursing team promptly
• Assist with safe transfers and repositioning to promote comfort and prevent injury
• Perform routine vital sign checks and document observations accurately
• Maintain clean, organized patient environments and follow infection control practices
• Support mealtime assistance and ensure patients receive proper nutrition and hydration
• Communicate clearly and kindly with patients, families, and the care team to ensure coordinated care

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification — New Mexico preferred or eligible
• Completion of an accredited CNA training program
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or able to obtain
• Ability to pass background check and required health screenings
• Strong communication skills and a patient-first attitude
• Comfort working overnight hours and flexible per diem scheduling

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an accredited CNA program

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in basic patient care and activities of daily living
• Accurate documentation and charting skills
• Knowledge of infection prevention and safety protocols
• Ability to work effectively in a team and follow nursing directions
• Time management and ability to prioritize patient needs
