Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents including ADLs like bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance
• Monitor patients and report changes in condition to nursing staff promptly
• Assist with safe transfers and use of mobility equipment to prevent falls
• Document care accurately and communicate clearly at shift handoff
• Support mealtime assistance and hydration needs, respecting patient preferences
• Create a warm, respectful environment that honors each resident’s dignity and comfort

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification (required)
• Active/state-appropriate CNA listing or license for New Mexico preferred
• Previous experience in long-term care or assisted living is a plus
• Ability to pass background checks and meet facility onboarding requirements
• Positive communication skills and a team-first attitude

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential required

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong patient-centered care and basic clinical skills
• Safe patient handling and fall prevention awareness
• Clear, compassionate communication with residents and team members
• Basic documentation skills and attention to detail
• Ability to follow care plans and respond to changing resident needs
