Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Day (No weekend rotation)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $40 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough occupational therapy assessments and create individualized treatment plans that help patients regain independence
- Deliver evidence-based interventions focused on ADLs, mobility, and functional goals
- Collaborate with nurses, PTs, SLPs and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care and improve patient outcomes
- Document patient progress clearly and promptly in the medical record to support continuity of care
- Educate patients and families on adaptive strategies, home modifications, and equipment needs
- Participate in team meetings and discharge planning to ensure smooth transitions and meaningful outcomes
Qualifications
- Licensed Occupational Therapist in Illinois or eligible to obtain Illinois licensure
- OTR or equivalent credential preferred
- Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain
- Strong clinical reasoning with experience evaluating and treating adult populations (new grads encouraged to apply)
- Excellent communication skills and a team-first attitude
Education
- Master's degree or OTD in Occupational Therapy required
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in occupational therapy assessments, ADL training, and therapeutic activity planning
- Comfortable with documentation and following regulatory charting standards
- Knowledge of adaptive equipment, splinting basics, and positioning strategies
- Strong interpersonal skills for patient and family education
- Ability to work collaboratively in an interdisciplinary healthcare environment
