Candidate Pay Rate: $49 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat in-patient rehab patients using evidence-based occupational therapy interventions focused on neuro and ortho populations
- Perform acute evaluations and provide skilled treatments for Ortho, Telemetry and ICU patients as clinical needs arise
- Develop individualized treatment plans that promote functional independence and safe discharge outcomes
- Collaborate with nursing, PT, SLP and the interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient-centered care
- Document thoroughly in the Meditech system to ensure accurate, timely clinical records
- Participate in discharge planning, patient and family education, and ensure continuity of care across settings
Qualifications
- Active OT license (no temporary licenses allowed)
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 2+ years of hospital experience, with inpatient rehab and/or acute hospital experience strongly preferred
- Experience performing neuro, ortho, ICU and telemetry evaluations and treatments
- Comfortable using Meditech or similar documentation systems
- Able to work rotating schedules and weekends as required for the assignment
Knowledge & Skills
- In-patient rehab clinical expertise (neuro and ortho patient evaluations and treatments)
- Acute care skills for Ortho, Telemetry and ICU populations
- Proficient documentation skills in Meditech or equivalent EHR
- Strong interdisciplinary communication and care coordination
- Ability to adapt and float to different units when needed
- Professionalism with adherence to dress code, infection control and unit policies
