Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality nursing care to assigned patients during the overnight shift
• Conduct thorough patient assessments and communicate changes to the care team
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and document timely
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care and discharge planning
• Respond calmly and competently to emergencies and escalate appropriately
• Maintain clear, professional documentation in the patient record and support continuity of care

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensure (RN preferred)
• Ability to work the 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM overnight shift reliably
• Current, unrestricted license to practice in North Carolina (or ability to obtain for travel assignment)
• Willingness to complete facility-required onboarding, immunizations, and background checks

Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN, Diploma, or BSN)

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong patient assessment and clinical decision-making skills
• Confident medication administration and accurate documentation
• Effective communication and teamwork with colleagues and families
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced overnight environment
• Comfort with electronic medical records and standard nursing workflows
