Shift Type: Evening shift, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM (days to be confirmed with schedule coordinator)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate daily care to geriatric patients, assisting with activities of daily living like bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Support the rehab team by safely assisting with mobility, transfers, and exercises
- Monitor and report changes in patient condition to nurses and clinical staff promptly
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation of care, observations, and meal assistance
- Promote a safe, clean, and respectful environment that preserves patient dignity
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support individualized care plans
Qualifications
- Current GNA certification or state-equivalent credential
- Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Up-to-date immunizations and ability to pass required health screenings
- Background check and any state-required clearances
- Strong patient-focused attitude with experience in geriatric or long-term care settings preferred
- Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working within a rehab/long-term care environment
Education
- High school diploma or GED required
- Geriatric Nursing Assistant certification or equivalent required
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in assisting with ADLs and mobility support
- Knowledge of infection control and basic safety protocols
- Clear, compassionate communication with patients, families, and teammates
- Comfortable with basic observation and reporting of clinical changes
- Ability to follow care plans and work collaboratively in a rehab setting
- Time management and documentation skills to maintain accurate records
