Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Evening shift (2nd), 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM; specific days to be confirmed (schedule may vary)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care and assistance to residents, helping maintain dignity and comfort
- Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, grooming, dressing and toileting
- Monitor residents for changes in condition and promptly report observations to nursing staff
- Accurately document care, vital signs and resident interactions in the medical record
- Support safe mobility and transfers, using proper body mechanics and equipment
- Promote a positive living environment by assisting with social activities and mealtime support
- Follow infection control policies and maintain a clean, safe space for residents
Qualifications
- Current GNA certification (Geriatric Nursing Assistant) required per state regulations
- CPR/BLS certification preferred or required depending on facility policy
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening as required
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well on a care team
- Compassionate attitude and experience working with older adult populations preferred
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Completed GNA training program and state certification
Knowledge & Skills
- Understanding of activities of daily living, infection control and resident safety
- Comfort with taking vital signs, documenting care and recognizing changes in condition
- Basic lifting and transfer techniques and safe use of assistive devices
- Good observational skills and clear communication with residents and the care team
- Ability to follow care plans and facility protocols reliably
