Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Evening shift, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM (Shift 2); specific days to be confirmed with scheduler
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $22 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming) with dignity and respect
- Support mobility and transfers, using safe body mechanics and assistive devices
- Monitor and record vital signs and resident status, reporting changes to nursing staff promptly
- Provide compassionate companionship and engage residents in meaningful activities
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow care plans to ensure continuity of care
- Adhere to infection control practices and facility policies to keep residents safe
- Collaborate with the care team to contribute to positive resident outcomes
Qualifications
- Active GNA certification (required) — you must bring the credential to work
- Previous experience in long-term care or elder care preferred
- Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and required health screenings
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient-centered approach
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- GNA certification required
Knowledge & Skills
- Understanding of basic resident care and ADLs
- Comfortable taking and documenting vital signs accurately
- Knowledge of safe transfer and mobility techniques
- Familiarity with infection prevention and standard precautions
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a care team
- Time management and the ability to prioritize resident needs
