Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate bedside nursing care to residents and patients
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and document per facility policy
• Perform timely patient assessments and report changes to the care team
• Collaborate with RNs, CNAs, and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care
• Maintain accurate and professional documentation in the electronic medical record
• Support resident dignity and independence while following safety and infection control practices

Qualifications

• Valid LPN license in Vermont (must be active and in good standing)
• Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain prior to start
• Local candidate only; must have reliable transportation
• Ability to obtain any required facility-specific clearances prior to start
• Comfort working evenings and collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team
• All Request Time Off (RTO) must be approved prior to start date

Education

• LPN diploma, certificate, or equivalent vocational nursing education

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong medication administration and documentation skills
• Basic wound care and restorative nursing knowledge
• Familiarity with long-term care or skilled nursing workflows is a plus
• Good clinical judgment and ability to escalate concerns appropriately
• Clear verbal and written communication with patients and team members
• Time management and ability to prioritize tasks in a busy unit
• Comfort using electronic health record systems
• Team-oriented mindset and commitment to resident-centered care
