Candidate Pay Rate: $46 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents while prioritizing dignity and comfort
- Administer medications and treatments accurately according to provider orders
- Monitor and document vital signs, changes in condition, and patient progress in the chart
- Collaborate with RNs, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate excellent care
- Assist residents with activities of daily living and mobility needs with patience and respect
- Educate residents and families on care plans, discharge instructions, and safety
- Maintain infection control and safety standards to protect residents and staff
- Support admissions, discharges, and care transitions smoothly and professionally
Qualifications
- Current, active LPN license (required) — ability to obtain Maine authorization if needed
- Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification (current)
- Minimum recent clinical experience in long-term care or similar settings preferred
- Ability to pass facility background check, drug screen, and meet immunization requirements
- Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
Education
- Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program (or equivalent) with active LPN credential
Knowledge & Skills
- Medication administration and documentation best practices
- Clinical assessment and recognizing changes in resident condition
- Experience with electronic medical records and accurate charting
- Knowledge of infection prevention and safety protocols
- Time management, prioritization, and reliable caregiving under daily demands
- Collaborative communication with interdisciplinary teams and families
