Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
• Perform personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, toileting, and mobility assistance
• Monitor residents for changes in condition and promptly report concerns to nursing staff
• Accurately document care provided and observations in resident records
• Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean, safe environment
• Collaborate with the care team to support individualized care plans and positive outcomes
• Engage with residents respectfully to promote dignity, comfort, and quality of life

Qualifications

• Current LNA license or certification (Licensed Nursing Assistant) in VT or eligible to practice
• Ability to work every weekend as required by the role
• Must have own transportation
• Must have own housing (local-only assignment)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; compassionate patient focus
• Reliable, punctual, and able to follow facility policies and procedures
• Available for the assignment dates: starts 2026-01-05 through 2026-03-15

Education

• Completion of an accredited LNA training program
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Hands-on resident care and ADL assistance
• Basic vital signs and observation of clinical changes
• Clear, accurate documentation and charting
• Infection control and safety best practices
• Teamwork, time management, and prioritization during busy shifts
• Compassionate communication with residents, families, and staff
