Shift Type: Day 4x10, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM (Day), typical four 10-hour days per week (often Monday-Thursday), one weekday off (likely Tuesday or Wednesday) depending on scheduling, call required, weekend call coverage 1-2 weekends per month
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $74 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality peri-procedural nursing care in the cardiac catheterization lab
- Assist with and participate in cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures
- Perform sterile technique as scrub or circulator and maintain a safe sterile field
- Monitor and recognize dysrhythmias and intervene per ACLS guidelines
- Administer procedural sedation and blood/blood products safely and accurately
- Manage vascular access including PICC, central lines, sheath removal and Port-A-Cath care
- Operate and document care in the Epic charting system with accurate records
- Support rapid response and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Adhere to infection control and isolation precautions to protect patients and staff
Qualifications
- Active Washington RN license, or in-process with applied date and ETA of issue (please indicate status on your profile)
- ACLS and BCLS (required)
- Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience (explicitly required)
- Comfortable performing scrub, circulate and record roles in the cath lab
- Experience with cardiac cath procedures such as PTCA, PCI, IABP, sheath management and cath lab equipment
- Charting experience in Epic (required)
- Willingness to float to other facilities and participate in on-call rotation
Knowledge & Skills
- Cardiac catheterization and interventional cardiology fundamentals
- Sterile technique and room setup for invasive procedures
- Recognition and management of life-threatening arrhythmias
- Procedure sedation and cardioversion/defibrillation skills
- Blood and blood product administration protocols
- Vascular access skills: PICC, central lines, Port-A-Cath, sheath removal
- Familiarity with vascular closure systems and endovascular interventions
- Experience documenting care in Epic and working in a 1:1 staffing environment
