Shift Type: Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, 10:30 PM - 7:00 AM NOC (overnight); local-only overnights initially, with a planned transition to 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM once daytime coverage returns

Candidate Pay Rate: $36 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered care during overnight shifts, ensuring safety and comfort
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and document all care in the medical record
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, promptly reporting changes to the RN or provider
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support care plans and positive outcomes
- Perform timely charting and handoffs to ensure continuity of care during transitions
- Support residents with activities of daily living and promote a dignified environment
- Respond effectively to emergencies and follow facility protocols to maintain patient safety
Qualifications
- Active LPN license in New Hampshire or eligibility to obtain state licensure
- Current BLS/CPR certification (or willing to obtain prior to start)
- Comfortable working overnight shifts and adapting to a planned transition to evenings
- Strong clinical assessment skills, attention to detail, and reliable documentation practices
- Good communication and teamwork skills; ability to collaborate with nurses, providers, and support staff
- Ability to pass standard background checks and meet facility onboarding requirements
Education
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing (LPN/LVN) program; high school diploma or GED required
Knowledge & Skills
- Medication administration and basic nursing procedures with accuracy
- Patient assessment, vital signs monitoring, and recognizing clinical changes
- Familiarity with electronic medical records and clear documentation practices
- Infection control principles and safe patient handling techniques
- Time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced overnight environment
- A caring bedside manner and the ability to support residents emotionally and physically
