Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate hands-on nursing care to residents and patients during the night shift
• Administer medications and treatments safely and document accurately
• Monitor patient status, report changes promptly, and collaborate with the care team
• Support admissions, discharges, and transfers with clear communication and care continuity
• Participate in care planning and help implement individualized interventions
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and follow infection control and facility policies
• Provide emotional support to residents and families during overnight hours

Qualifications

• Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in New Hampshire or eligible for licensure
• Current BLS/CPR certification (or willing to obtain prior to start)
• Comfortable and experienced with overnight nursing responsibilities
• Ability to pass facility background checks and health screenings
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
• Local candidate preferred - this is a local-only assignment

Education

• LPN diploma or practical nursing certificate from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

• Medication administration and documentation best practices
• Basic assessment skills and recognizing changes in patient condition
• Familiarity with long-term care and skilled nursing workflows
• Electronic charting and accurate record-keeping
• Time management and prioritization during high-acuity nights
• Teamwork and clear shift-to-shift communication
