Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered nursing care in accordance with facility policies
• Perform thorough assessments and document findings accurately in the electronic health record
• Administer medications and treatments safely and timely, following physician orders
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and update individualized care plans
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and at-home care to promote recovery
• Monitor patient progress and escalate changes in condition to appropriate providers
• Champion infection control practices and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff

Qualifications

• Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license — Maryland license preferred or compact if applicable
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS preferred per facility guidelines
• Valid immunizations and ability to meet facility onboarding requirements
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, team-oriented long-term care or clinical environment
• Strong communication skills and a patient-first attitude

Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN for RNs)

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient assessment and clinical decision-making
• Medication administration and documentation accuracy
• Proficiency with electronic health records and charting best practices
• Time management and prioritization in a dynamic clinical setting
• Effective teamwork, communication, and patient/family education
