Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents in the RiverRidge Center
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and document thoroughly
- Perform and record routine assessments and communicate changes to the care team
- Support residents with activities of daily living while promoting dignity and independence
- Collaborate with RNs, CNAs, and interdisciplinary staff to deliver high-quality care
- Maintain clear, timely charting in the facility EHR and follow facility policies
- Participate in shift handoffs and contribute to a positive, solution-focused team environment
Qualifications
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license — required
- BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain promptly)
- Local candidates only (assignment is LOCAL ONLY)
- Comfortable administering medications, charting, and basic wound care
- Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
- Previous LPN experience preferred; new grads from accredited programs may be considered
Education
- Graduation from an accredited Practical Nursing program (LPN diploma or certificate)
Knowledge & Skills
- Patient assessment and monitoring
- Medication administration and documentation
- Basic wound care and ADL assistance
- Familiarity with electronic health records and clear charting
- Infection control and safety procedures
- Team collaboration, time management, and effective communication
