Candidate Pay Rate: $37 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents as a Licensed Practical Nurse
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
• Monitor resident condition and communicate changes to the care team
• Document assessments, interventions and resident responses in the chart with clarity
• Collaborate with nurses, therapists and support staff to deliver person-centered care
• Support care planning, participate in interdisciplinary meetings and follow through on care goals
• Mentor and guide nursing assistants and new staff when needed to maintain high standards

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in West Virginia required
• Completion of an accredited practical nursing program
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred or willingness to obtain quickly
• Comfort working night shifts and every other weekend
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team
• Previous experience in long-term care or similar setting is a plus

Education

• Graduate of an accredited LPN/LVN program
• High school diploma or equivalent

Knowledge & Skills

• Medication administration and documentation best practices
• Basic wound care and infection prevention techniques
• Familiarity with resident-focused care and long-term care routines
• Comfortable with electronic medical records and accurate charting
• Good clinical judgment, time management and prioritization
• Compassionate bedside manner and strong interpersonal skills
