Shift Type: Night shift (days vary), 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM NOC
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting with dignity and respect
- Monitor and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff promptly and accurately
- Support safe transfers and mobility, using proper body mechanics and assistive devices
- Provide compassionate companionship and engage residents in therapeutic activities
- Document care delivered and observations clearly and timely in resident charts
- Follow infection control policies and maintain a clean, safe environment
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support individualized care plans
Qualifications
- Active GNA certification or equivalent as required by state regulations
- Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Previous experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or geriatrics preferred
- Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and provide required immunizations
- Strong communication skills and a patient, compassionate approach to care
- Reliable transportation and flexibility to work night shifts
Education
- High school diploma or GED
- Completion of an accredited GNA training program or equivalent
Knowledge & Skills
- Comfortable assisting with ADLs and mobility support
- Basic clinical observation skills for reporting changes in condition
- Familiarity with infection control practices and documentation
- Good interpersonal skills for working with residents and families
- Time management and the ability to prioritize resident needs
- Teamwork mindset and willingness to learn from nursing staff
