Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct care to residents, helping with activities of daily living
• Assist with bathing, dressing, feeding and mobility to promote dignity and comfort
• Take and record vital signs and report changes to the nursing team promptly
• Document resident care accurately and communicate clearly during handoffs
• Support a safe, clean environment by following infection-control and safety protocols
• Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to deliver person-centered care
• Engage residents in meaningful activities and encourage social interaction

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential — required
• Comfortable working part-time evening shifts and every other weekend
• Compassionate approach with strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to follow care plans, document accurately, and prioritize resident safety
• Willingness to complete any facility onboarding requirements (background check, health screens) as needed

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required

Knowledge & Skills

• Hands-on resident care and assistance with ADLs
• Basic vital sign measurement and documentation
• Infection prevention and safe patient handling practices
• Clear, respectful communication with residents and team members
• Time management and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced care setting
