Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, respectful personal care to geriatric residents
- Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and toileting
- Support safe mobility and transfers, using proper body mechanics and equipment
- Monitor residents for changes in condition and promptly report concerns to nursing staff
- Document care accurately and timely in resident records
- Help create a warm, dignified environment that promotes resident comfort and independence
- Collaborate with the care team to implement individualized care plans
Qualifications
- Current Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) certification required
- Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or obtained upon hire
- Valid state-required certifications and clear background check
- Comfortable working with older adults and assisting with ADLs
- Reliable, professional, and able to follow care plans and instructions
- Previous long-term care or geriatric experience is a plus
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- GNA certification required
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with residents and families
- Knowledge of infection control and basic safety procedures
- Ability to document care clearly and follow facility policies
- Compassion, patience, and respect for the elderly
- Teamwork and a willingness to support colleagues during busy shifts
