Candidate Pay Rate: $21 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care, assisting with activities of daily living
Monitor and record vital signs, reporting changes promptly to nursing staff
Support patient mobility and safe transfers with attention to comfort and dignity
Assist with feeding, hygiene, and toileting while promoting patient independence
Maintain clean, safe patient environments and adhere to infection control practices
Communicate clearly with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary care team
Accurately document care and observations in the patient record

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (required)
Eligibility or active CNA certification in New Mexico
Current BLS/CPR certification preferred or willing to obtain
Comfortable working overnight hours and supporting a rehab/long-term care population
Ability to pass background checks and meet facility onboarding requirements
Strong interpersonal skills and a team-first attitude

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Current CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in basic patient care and activities of daily living (ADLs)
Knowledge of infection control and safe patient handling techniques
Ability to take and accurately record vital signs
Clear, compassionate communication with patients and families
Familiarity with electronic charting or willingness to learn
Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented
