Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, schedule aligned with the school day (hours vary; expected ~40 hours/week). Telepractice; candidate will only be paid for hours worked (no pay for school holidays/closings).

Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct evaluations and assessments for elementary-aged students via telepractice
- Deliver evidence-based speech and language therapy sessions remotely
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education program (IEP) goals
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to integrate therapy into the school day
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation and session notes consistent with district policies
- Manage a school caseload without Medicaid billing or case management duties
- Communicate clearly with caregivers about progress, strategies, and home carryover activities
Qualifications
- Active Oregon SLP license (required)
- Experience in telepractice service delivery (preferred)
- School-based SLP experience, especially elementary level
- Comfort with virtual assessment and treatment modalities
- Strong communication skills with students, families, and school teams
- Professionalism with reliable remote technology/setup
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of speech, language and communication disorders in school-age children
- Skill using telepractice platforms and remote assessment tools
- Familiarity with IEP development and school documentation practices
- Ability to adapt therapy to virtual formats and engage young learners
- Caseload management and progress monitoring skills
