Roles & Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and assessments for elementary-aged students via telepractice
• Deliver evidence-based speech and language therapy sessions remotely
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education program (IEP) goals
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to integrate therapy into the school day
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation and session notes consistent with district policies
• Manage a school caseload without Medicaid billing or case management duties
• Communicate clearly with caregivers about progress, strategies, and home carryover activities

Qualifications

• Active Oregon SLP license (required)
• Experience in telepractice service delivery (preferred)
• School-based SLP experience, especially elementary level
• Comfort with virtual assessment and treatment modalities
• Strong communication skills with students, families, and school teams
• Professionalism with reliable remote technology/setup

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of speech, language and communication disorders in school-age children
• Skill using telepractice platforms and remote assessment tools
• Familiarity with IEP development and school documentation practices
• Ability to adapt therapy to virtual formats and engage young learners
• Caseload management and progress monitoring skills
